Liles Tiner was born in 1842 in IL. He is the son of William and Dorcas Halcomb Tiner. On Dec 8, 1866, he married Margaret Waddle, daughter of Henry and Sarah Isabelle Bigger Waddle. They had three children before Liles died ca. 1873; William Henry who died young, thomas Jefferson who married Malissa J. Barnett, and Codelia married Frank Anspach, she died shortly after and they had no children. Liles Tiner died and Margaret married Franklin Hawk in 1874.
